Hi, I just got given some used look keo pedals by my mate for my new bike, tightened them up and one pedals thread sticks out of the crank whereas the other doesn’t, is that normal? Also I tried loosening them with the torque wrench that I used to tighten and they won’t budge, do i need a pedal spanner for that? Thanks

No idea about the pedals, but don’t use a torque wrench to undo anything
I use Keo’s and they both stick out
I’ve never had a pedal spindle beyond flush with the crank. I’ve owned over 2 dozen bikes over the years. Pedals from Crank Bros, Shimano, Look, etc
Maybe your cranks or pedals requires pedal washers and you’re missing it on one side?
