  1. With one picture only and 0 details, that’s a stupidly high price. The only things that could justify it would be 1) expensive wheels in good shape, 2) newer groupset/upgrades. Otherwise it’s a $300-400 bike.

  2. Schwinn Paramounts are collectable. The price is not bad if you want a vintage bike. If you want any road bike you should be able to find something newer for an equivalent price.

  3. Seller didn’t list much in the description, but it has
7 speed Dura Ace front/rear derailleur
    Looks like Dura Ace crank
    Columbus SLX tubing
Not sure of the brakes or wheelset.

  4. Too high unless you’re a collector of vintage Paramounts or something. That’s ancient technology. Cool bike, but not really something you would want to ride a lot.

  5. lot more but older on ebay https://www.ebay.com/itm/256658232079?
idk, in the long run, if you really want a classic, what’s a couple hundred dollars

Like classic cars, classic bikes are seldom practical, skinny tires, no low gears if hilly, heavier. But cooler than black carbon bikes.

  6. I just sold a tricked-out tourer for $600 after it sat on Marketplace for half a year. Which is to say that $500 is insane for that bike in the picture.

  7. Everyone wants crazy money for paramounts, they rarely get it, I’ve seen the same ones for sale for years

This is a collectors item or a 3rd bike in a collection. Not a daily ride. No category of bike is more stupidly priced than vintage stuff. Go look for a bike made in this century.

It is a Paramount so I don’t blame them. That is a good deal if you must have a Paramount. If you just want a Bike, there are others
