  1. You simply arent “jhopping” correctly. Both of those clips seemed like a two tyre hop.

Do it again 50 more times and keep focusing on pulling the front up first AND then emphasize on lifting your legs/tucking your knees.

  2. Get really low, and as you’re turning your body, pull up, and your back should follow. I’ll post a 180 video so you can see!

  3. Trying hopping something around wheel height, just straight up bunny hops to improve your form and correct the two tire hop.

Honestly man, looks better than some of the other “help me with my 180s” posts on here. I think the only advice needed is to keep going. You’re gonna get more and more comfortable and eventually (hopefully) crack a grounded 360 one day. Good luck brudda!!

  5. You’re struggling to get the front up because your weight is forward on the front of the bike throughout this whole video (not just during the motion). You want your hips pulled way back and down from where they are now.

Think about how much range of motion you’re generating for yourself. When your weight is forward and your hips are close to your hands before you even pop, you only have that much room to pull towards with your bars before they hit the “wall” of your body. You want that space expanded as much as possible when you initiate the motion, then move through all of it by bringing your bars and hips up to meet each other, then snap them back apart by tucking your legs/pushing the bars forward again.

  6. I feel like you’re not leaning back in the beginning of the hop enough, your legs aren’t being used enough to push the back wheel into the ground.

    If that makes any sense?

  7. You are dipping just your shoulder instead of you full body and head when you set up for the hop. Look down and your bars then rapidly look over shoulder as you hop. Other than that you’ve got it dialed

Had the same issue at the start broski:)
What helped me was thinking of a 180 in two steps.
    1. Carve and pull your front wheel up.
    2. Jump amd rotate the 180

But keep riding your bike. As your controll gets better it will be easier to do! Also 180 up and down stuff may help you with the timing!

Dont get frustrated. Its good that you realized now and it will get better.

  9. I like to call it the BOAT method…
    Meaning: Bust out another thousand…
Attempts.. It’ll look better with every try.
Oh yea and turn your fucking head more.
    You look where you land!!!
    Respect!
