  1. I know people who do this, they rarely get bitten and when they do it’s cause they hit the spider or something along those lines

  2. It's actually not as bad as you think. They aint asking you to pick them by hand. You aint reaching down with your bare hands.
    You got tools to use.

  3. This is misleading information. Wolf spiders are very unlikely to bite humans. With all the clothing those farmers are wearing, the spiders would have to climb inside the farmers clothing which they would 100% nor do. They might climb onto the farmers, but not to bite them. Wolf spiders only bite when they feel threatened and these spiders have a symbiotic relationship with the farmers. I hate misinformation like this because people are already scared of spiders which are absolutely essential for pest control. These spiders literally have jobs. Theyre productive members of society. These spiders are the reason Ocean Spray's cranberries are not covered in pesticides. Stop fear mongering and misrepresenting the truth. Also Ocean Spray farmers dont make 150K per year. Everything in this video is a lie

  4. Bites?
    Not so much.
Wolf Spider bites are exceedingly rare and they tend not to associate the thing they are escaping to as shelter with something bite worthy.

Wolf Spiders are chill, this job would be fun if anything. Also probably get a lot of people past their arachnophobia once they realized the worst these things can do to you is crawl on you and are otherwise harmless.

Unrelated, but Wolf Spiders are great to have around in general. Just like in this job field, they work great as natural pest repellant and only stay in houses so long as there is food AKA other bugs.

  5. 300k with Transportation and free lunch. ❤❤❤ First Aid Medic to check me at the end of the day!
🤕🤕🤕 Need Hazmat Bee suit for full protection! 🥊🥊🥊

  6. I'm more afraid of how deep/cold the water is, and where are the nearest cranberry farms? I am applying for disability but you gotta do what ya gotta do to survive.

  7. I am potentially a dream candidate, but i wpuldnhave to adjust. I used to run a cabless tractor with a batwing mower to mow the middles in the orange grove i grew up on. Certain times of the year, golden orb weaver spiders (or as papa and the rest of florida calls em, banana spiders) would come back and pulling to the first middle to mow in the morning… It would look like thicker fog in the fog, and it was all banana spiders and their webs…
They would be crawling ALL over you within 10 yards going down the first middle, and would be all over you until you got off for lunch. Then theyd be all over you for the rest of the afternoon, and the only thing between you and webs to the face was the exhaust of the tractor sticking up out of the hood. It helped me get over a good chunk of my arachnophobia, i never ever got bitten once… And they get huuuuge!

Wolf spiders for me are different… When i was 6 in years old sitting in a bubble bath, a giant one crawled out of the shower curtain and started crawling into the bubbles towards me… I couldnt even speak for a few seconds, until i hollered MOMMAAAAAAAA!!!! And DASHED out of that tub like death itself was grasping at me, soaked the floor while doing it.

That said, knowing what i know about spiders now, i could adjust in a heartbeat. I wouldnjust go into my mowing mode, lol. Wolf spiders seem to have tons more personality than banana spiders do, i think they would come to be something i regarded like little friends on the job.

Ocean spray, if you see me, i would come work for you!

  8. In California theres a species of wolf spider thats relatively tiny and i used to catch them buy the hundreds as a kid because they dont seem to bite. They were extremely fast but i got really good at just pinching them up off the ground. My friend and I were weird kids but now i dont have any fear of bugs so i guess it was a good thing. Anyway Wolf spiders are dope and actually make decent pets. I had hundreds in the water bottles i would use to store them in if i had more sense as a kid i woulda bought a fish tank and made them a habitat.
