I must have landed on a rock and scratched the tube on my front forks. On the old motorcycle I filled in the scratch with JB Weld and sanded it smooth to save the seal, but I'm hesitant to do that with my kashima coat forks. Any recommendations?

Lightly sand with high grit sandpaper if it’s rough to the touch and put nail polish
