  1. What a great principle! Cyclists are always bleating about "We want more bike lanes, but are always holding up traffic in their lycra while the bike lane is empty and even worse ride on the footpath. If there is a bike lane and a cyclist isn't using it they should be fined, because the motorists are paying through their vehicle and license fees to have those bicycle lanes built for cyclists who pay nothing.

  2. Bike riders totally ignore traffic rules . I drive a registered and insured car and have to abide by traffic rules. Stop whining. You broke the law. Pay the fine and move on.

  3. Well done, Officer. We too get arrogant idiots in Britain who ignore perfectly good bike lanes to ride in the main highways (and run red lights) yet our police ignore them.

  4. God wants people that shine, not people that whine. Man up. There are children being abused, Presidents being abused, and countless other atrocities. Count it as a donation to your lovely city.

  5. I've notes' that bike rules only apply to bikes when it applies to them ..the rest of the time they own the road . so if you accidently hit a bike with your car please backup and finish the job its your word against his/her dead word

  6. How about you get off the road bud. Streets are for cars not for some eco activists that cant afford a car. Get off or be ticketed dummie. Lol

  7. Sorry, bikers break all the rules but expect all the benefits you'd get from riding a car. They're so dangerous to themselves, I don't feel sorry for them at all

  8. ouch… that poor bicycle. Serious respect for Casey, that's a lot of bruises to make a point. I don't know about in NYC, but in California, a bike can legally use any lane, except on the freeway.

  9. Time to move on & rechannel your energy to more positive goals. Farmers put up with you in the rural areas running stop signs and playing chicken with huge farm equipment. Then when your group gets skewered by a combine it's their fault. Yeah, you are like that.

  10. Bicyclists in Ohio have complete rights to all lanes … state law ….

Cities are always trying to short-circuit this right, but state law prevails …(unless the cops(or mayor), are a–holes) …

  11. Try being safe out there rather than hurting yourself. Every type of vehicle operator gets tickets for stupid things. We're all a revenue stream. "doing the world a favor" is no defense against the money machine.
