Hi all. I know this is a very broad question and may well be impossible to answer but how do you ID the make or even time period of a bike? I'm interested in some more history of my bike however there are no pointers, badges or marks on the frame of any kind as far as I'm aware. I picked it up in the original condition where it had "The Independent" decals on it. I did ponder on whether this referred to the newspaper company. I'm just a little confused as it runs a shimano SIS gear system and the crank arms look well more modern then the frame does… Any help?🙏😅
