I got this at a yard sale for $25. Old woman running the sale said she bought it for her kids in the 70s & it’s sat in the garage since they grew up & moved out. It was the coolest bike I’d ever seen & for only $25?? Bought it without thinking twice about it.
I’ve been stumped trying to ID it. Looks extremely similar to a chrome Schwinn Phantom, but not exact. Maybe a few parts were replaced at some point?

That thing was twisted up in the 90’s or later. It may even be a 90’s Schwinn.
Found a serial number under the bottom bracket!

Maybe only the tank is schwinn & this whole thing is just a frankenbike ?
For 25? not bad, overall? Kinda looks like a clone. The bolt on kick stand, fan spoke wheels, and that the fork bolts aren’t stamped with an S makes me think over all that it’s not original Schwinn.
