Brakes are Tektro HD-M745 Orion, 4-piston hydraulic.
The mechanics said it's fairly normal to pull this much because there's a lot of fluid to actuate the breaks… They don't sens air in the cable.
Do I need to bleed these tektro brakes? The brakes are fine, but I gotta pull the lever a long way until they do… The left is about 20% less pull.

Brake pads are worn
It’s the longer brake hose causing more squishyness. The hose is not 100% solid to the pressure.
