Nice. I have a similar build with a single chainring on a 105 1056 crank. The steel frame is very smooth. Are those shifters friction only?

It is a beautiful bike, and looks like it’s in very good condition for its age.
I agree with another comment, that you should not mix new with vintage components, and because that bike is in good condition for its age you should keep it as original as possible, meaning finding the original era correct parts. The bike is worth a lot more money if restored, or kept original. I realize you had the DA brakes on hand, but it doesn’t look right for that bike.
But it is your bike, you do whatever you want to it, just know that a bastardized bike is not worth as much. If there is something wrong with the bike that we can’t see that would make the value less than fine, the one thing I did see is what happened to the Fuji brand decal?
