It’s stage 23 of 38 of our biketouring adventure!!
We had originally planned to cycle the whole way from Glasgow to Girvan, which would be 80-90kms. However, we decided to save ourselves the energy and book a train from Glasgow to Girvan because thats as far as the train line would take us for where we needed to end up in a couple days time. A very important ferry crossing we did not want to miss!
The train ride was uneventful and we arrived at our accomodation early 🙂 and what a lovely place it was! On a little farm in the mountains, Maxwelston Farmhouse was a cute cottage that welcomed us with a warm fire. We had all our food for the night so we set ourselves up in a cozy bed, sheltered from the wind outside! We would 100% recommend staying here as it really felt like a home away from home.
