Hello everyone! I have a Schwinn beach cruiser with 26” wheels. The old tires were flat and crumbling so I bought new tires and tubes. The previous tires said 26×2.125 so that’s what I bought. However when I tried to ride it this happened (see picture). I have never changed tires so I have no idea where I went wrong. These tires seem larger height-wise than the last.

Seat the bead and pump them up.
They should snap in or require leverage to get them on the rim.
If they went on the rim without any effort, something is wrong.
They should fit close to the rim when pumped up, if not, the bead didn’t seat.
I can’t tell from the first pic, but they do look under pressurized.
