Shimano freehub, i want to get inside to service the pawls. Ive taken the cassette off but not sure how to remove the freehub body – followed various bits of advice from the internet but nothing seems to apply – a 10mm allen key wont fit in there so i assume theres a step im missing. Do i need a 17mm cone wrench?

There are small black screws at the end of the freehub. I think 3/4mm Allen… loosen those & then just twist them end caps out… right side counterclockwise, left side counterwise.

If not working… drop some break cleaner or acetone inside the holes and gently tap them with a rubber hammer
Theres a special tool for that.
