What do you think of Ai cameras on motorways
When is the ulez going to be stopped as mayor lied about
I don't know why, but the standard of driving is worse now than it was in the 90's.
I think less people are speeding than there used to be, but there is a real lack of competence on display, Priorities and positioning at roundabouts seem a mystery to many, Sitting in the overtaking lanes on the motorway for no apparent reason is also more of a problem now.
Twice in the last year at the m1/a41 junction at watford i have joined the slip road to see a car reversing towards me
Shazad trying to read the Parallel Parking was priceless πππ
Hello Shahzad. Ibrahim in Canterbury here. Just to let you know I'm still very much subscribed to your channel and always will be. Just been grieving at the unexpected loss of my very dear Mum on July 3rd. Anyhow I'm going to also comment on your actual video which I found most interesting
What bothers me is that car tech is taking the responsibility away from the driver. The car has so many functions which say 'don't worry, I'm doing this'. And we all know that technology never has glitches which is why no-one has ever seen a warning light appear on the dash display or the car have a five minute wobbly. The driver should be responsible for the car, not the other way around.
Your video and title remind me of that TV series some years ago "Britain's Worst Driver". Hosted by Quintin Wilson and who coincidentally, I met at the EV show in Farnborough last year.
As for the tv series, back in my other homeland we had the same series aka "Canada's Worst Driver". On both sides of the Atlantic, the level of driving, as well as the attitudes displayed were truly shocking. Especially when you consider it was all for real and not acting. I'm surprised the insurance companies & licencing authorities didn't take any action as a result of those programs. Each driver would have been very easy to identify.
Whilst you were walking along and narrating, I was almost expecting to see a crash in the background or at least a near miss and the blaring of horns!
You've reminded me of that famous (and real) insurance claim form where the driver wrote "I had been driving for 40 years when I fell asleep at the wheel".
Another real one is "Coming home from work, I drove into the wrong driveway and collided with a tree I haven't got".
Another real one: "I collided with a bus. The bus was 5 minutes early". π
Those are all true insurance claims forms. There are quite a few more.
I have to really applaud you for remembering all those facts and figures for your walkabout. But why did you keep looking down at the ground so often whilst walking? π
Just a good natured joke. Very interesting video.
Here's a shocker. Lewis Hamilton's father says Lewis himself is an awful driver when he's in his own car…..
Just subscribed great channel
