I’m looking to get an Otso Warakin. I’m generally in between size for most brands, and it’s my first non-road bike. So I’m a bit lost. This is gonna be mostly casual gravel and bike packing. No racing.

I’m 5’11” and about 31” inseam. Long torso, short arm and legs. Generally Pretty flexible.

At the moment, I ride 1999 LeMond Zurich that fits quite alright. It’s size 55 with stock parts. There’s not much room on the seat post, but I think the reach is alright. I think it could use a slightly longer stem.

I also ride a 2006 LeMond Zurich (I know, I love LeMond) 57cm. It’s also pretty good in terms of fit. Again, not a whole lot of room for the seat post, and I had to shorten the stem a bit. I did 2x100mi on it, and I felt pretty good. No unusual pain.

I’ve been told that I need to size down for gravel. But I don’t know if that’s true?

Anyway, I’m attaching frame comparison shots of 1998 (same geo as 1999) to the 54 and 57 of Otso. I couldn’t generate the frame for 2006 model, so I got a screen shot of the measurement comparison table for all four.
