It looked to me like Primoz was sitting on in the remco/mvdp group for a while, maybe as a contingency plan in case pog got brought back. Primoz probably didn’t feel he could team time trial to the end, so once pog launched what else could he do except sit on
364 days in a year riders ride for their teams…and they get paid by their teams…..who believes really that on the 365. day they forget alle the team orders and ride for their countries ??
Roglic deserves immense respect for being a major winner despite often being struck with misfortune, yet still remains upbeat and positive. A four time Vuelta winner, 23 grand tour stages plus LBL and a good few one week races is a fantastic palmarès.
