P-Line not as robust as C-Line for casual cyclist?

So was watching some reviews of the P-Line and apparently with the external gearing and lighter chain it’s not as robust as the C-Line?

And requires more maintenance especially if you’re not using it regularly?

I suppose being the newer design they still have some kinks to iron compared to the C-Line which has been perfected over decades now.
