Hi,
I bought my first bike KLS Cliff 90 hybrid ( https://kellysbike.com/en/cross-c978/cliff-90-black-red-p71231 ). I didn't know anything about bikes and wasn't sure im gonna use it a lot. Turns out i really liked biking/bikepacking and looking for my second bike which i would except to use for long time.
At the moment i mostly use my bike to ride around city 20-30 km per ride with my child in the seat and my wife. Occasionally we do bikepacking trips for no longer than 60km per day for now (maybe longer rides in the future). While riding with family we usually go around 20km/h and when i ride alone, i go a bit faster.
Main things why i started looking for new bike is because i want bike with internal cable routing, 1x front gear and a bit better components aswell. I tried Gravel bike with drop bars but didn't liked it. Actually after doing research i don't think i need drop bars at all. So looking for gravel/hybrid bike with flat bars.
I didn't have big budget and narrowed my search to a few models:
1. Specialized Sirrus x 4.0. Can get the bike for 1250 eur.
Pros: Very light / Carbon fork / Future Shock suspension
Cons: Many claim Sram NX isn't great and much worse than Deore / Can't see gear numbers on shifter (kind of big deal for me?)
2. TREK Dual Sport 3 gen 5. Can get the bike for 920 eur.
Pros: Good price / Good components (Shimano cues) / Very good cable routing (Best i saw in this price category) / Carbon fork
Cons: 50mm Tires / 27.5 small size tires / Heavier
3. TREK FX3 Gen 4. Can get the bike for 1030 eur.
Pros: Good price / Good components (Shimano cues) / Very good cable routing (Best i saw in this price category) / Carbon fork
Cons: No suspension / 35mm Tires
4. Specialized Sirrus x 3.0 EQ. Can get the bike for 1140 eur.
Pros: Good components (Shimano cues)
Cons: Price / No suspension
Im leaning towards TREK Dual Sport 3 or even FX 3 because i like their cable routing very much and price seems fair. Dual Sport 3 would be awesome for the price, but it may be too slow for me?What you guys think or maybe you have other bikes in mind?
