Looks the same as my bike. I thought it was holding the cables routed inside, bout could very well be the Di2 battery too.

Also, was there no cover for that hole on your bike? Tell Canyon to send you one. Mine came with a plastic cover.

1 of 3 of my canyons came with a plastic cover in that hole, 2 did not. Go figure, how can you have a process that omits that or includes it so randomly.

If you refer to that middle bit being different than the other two, yes, normal. It holds the brake hose that goes through the down tube, preventing rattling.

New Aeroad, same thing here. Normal. I’ve seen reports some have little covers, some do not. Nothing to worry about imo.
