  1. There is a difference between “old” and “stored outside”. That’s not an Italian made Bianchi, though it was marketed by Bianchi, which was a name probably owned by a parent company someplace in the world at the the time. It’s likely an ok bike to ride, but in no way unique or valuable.

    Yeah brother do what you want with it but this is bottom of the barrel road bike made during the bike boom. You’re gonna spend way more money than you should and never be satisfied. As someone who restores bikes, I wouldn’t even really look at this as something with alot of potential.

  3. Yeap, totally low end mid-80s. Definitely not 70s or it would have centerpulls and steel cottered cranks.
    For starters the bike needs new seat/seatpost, tires, chain, and likely cables and housing, not including the labor involved. You’re gonna totally exceed the value of the bike just with a new seat.
    It’s basically a good bike to learn on but don’t go nuts on it or get attached to it, because you can get a much better quality, whole working bike for half of how much investment in time and money this bike needs.
