Help. New to biking- should I replace my possibly I’ll fitting bike with this other one?
Hi! Very new to biking and bought a secondhand 2008 Giant TCX a year ago. I’m kind of short, and thought a 48cm frame (for my 5’2 height) would be perfect but no matter how much I adjust it, it just doesn’t seem right. My plan was to go to a bike store and have it fitted but today I saw this Avail on Facebook a size smaller for a great price and am thinking of getting it. However I heard the TCX is a great bike and have people telling me not to get rid of it. I probably sound like a total idiot, but like I mentioned, I’m a bike noob and am just really really lost!
Tldr; Should I replace my possibly I’ll fitting TCX for an Avail?

I would take your TCX to a bike shop and talk to the folks there to see what they recommend, whether you just need a proper fitting or a smaller frame altogether. Personally speaking I have an Avail myself, I’m 5’4 and it’s worked well for me over the years!
