The original light has the same wiring as the IQ-X: the light fits in the original mounting setup: simply swap out and put in the 4.8mm connectors for the dyno.
I don’t know if there are better lights; I like this one, setup nicely done, not too high to blind anyone, can see the potholes ahead.

Nice that you got it working. I run the same light on one of my Bromptons, it’s quite solid. I do augment it with a Bontrager cube when I do a ride thru a local path and it’s pretty dark – but that’s cause the higher light keeps the bats away. Congrats on the upgrade.
