Only our dear lord and Savior Donald J Trump can take us back to a time when women weren’t allowed to do any of this. First it was voting, then it was bikes, then driving, and now equal pay. Where will the line ever be drawn?!?
A significant portion of the American woman's suffrage movement was INTENTIONALLY racist, to better gain white men's support. Frances E. Willard is an example of this.
While the bicycle might have contributed, I think wanting to right to vote might have been the actual inspiration. Especially since the suffrage movement began nearly 200 years prior, although not with as much strength
