Took my new Hardtail out for its' first rip this evening. Ragley MMMBop Mullet build. 170mm Lyrik Ultimate fork. Really fun bike. Forgot just how playful Hardtails are. Been riding Ebike, Enduro and DH bike the past four years.
Built up this MMMBop last winter. Built it for winter riding in Ireland to save my bearings and motor.

Depends how you ride it
I don’t personally think that travel defines a hardcore hardtail. I’m trying to build one up myself, and I’ve got pro dh tires and I’m going to be getting some high rise bars. Might dabble in better rims and tire inserts. I do thing 170 counts for something tho.
I personally like them more XC, but that is one goooood looking bike
That’s a beauty. And 170 mm is quite a lot but to mullet the mmmbop is another thing. The head tube angle must be crazy slack, no?
