The only caveat is that they are adding to / updating their helmet lights, so something you like more may come out someday. I’m not aware of any ETA or specs. This was only in response to my question to them about an updated Hangover with a 21700 cell to match runtime with the Trail EVO.
Their Trail EVO + Hangover package is probably going only bike accessory that has ever made me rode more. I ride a ton of more in the darker months because of their products.

I have their OG trail light and it is PHENOMENAL! I can see everything and can ride at daylight speeds with utter confidence. I don’t even have a helmet mounted light…just the single light on the bars…it is totally enough. Battery lasts for hours. These lights are so good…I can’t believe they aren’t 2x the price.
For those, who never tried military lights, yes.
I’m good with my Olight Seeker 3 Pro.
Magicshine’s Galaxy costs about the same, has ~~the same size~~ twice the battery capacity and gives out more than twice as much light.
I have that package and love it. I think it’s worth it.
I’ve used expensive lights a lot but I’ve been running $30 AliExpress lights on my MTB for nearly a year now with no regrets, the ones I have are awesome and are every bit as bright and clear as my buddies high end Knog or Outbound systems.
I have that package, literally nothing better. Do it.
I use these on night rides and they are amazing
I ride with a Niterider Pro 1800, my buddy uses the Evo package. The Outbound lights are better than the Niterider in every way.

I literally just got the Evo light from my LBS last week and it’s awesome. They are made in Chicago with a 3-year warranty so def worth looking at.
I did try their hangover helmet light but returned it cause it felt awkward on my head, so I run a Bontrager ion on helmet now and it works well.
I can’t speak for what else is on the market but it is very good. The helmet light is great. No wires and nice and light

They never were the best option. There have always been better options.
I love outbound for the simplicity. I run the helmet light on “3 clicks” (slightly dimmer setting) and bar light on the first brightest setting and the result is both give plenty of light for up to about 3 hours. I’ve never needed the pass through charging but that sounds like a good option if I ever did an epic night ride. I hope the batteries hold up for multiple seasons because I’m not sure what happens if the internal battery stops holding a good charge. I’m on season 2 now.
