Im installing new pads and rotors and noticed the brake pad hangs about 2-3mm below the rotors braking surface. Is this normal?
The rotor is 160mm and I’m pretty sure the adapter is in the right position.

Common problem – wide pads with narrow rotor. Loads of TRP equipped bikes came with a similar setup to this. The best Shimano rotor that fits these pads is Shimano SM-RT70
