How the hell do you beat Philipsen this day, it’s like the Greipel/Cav times all over again, you just knew even from behind they were just too strong

Poor positioning by Merlier and Kooj. Both were as good as Philipsen in this sprint, they remounted so much of the gap from way back in the peloton
