      There is a video from aquarium co-op of a shrimp breeder that hasn’t changed substrate or tanks in like 5 years and he breeds caridina at like 7.2pH! So, it’s crazy to me to see so many different styles of tank setups to get the same result. Which I think gravitates more towards the bare glass bottom and simple setup so that culling is easier.

      I love this interview and the interview with Darick (Shrimps Affair) too. Such a wealth of info. And thanks for asking about water changes as I'm one of those once a week water change guys and like to use Darick's video and now this video as confirmation "it's okay".
