  1. I still loathe public transportation in Germany, even as a German. Talking to my German friends, they, too, are constantly annoyed at the fact that it is unnecessarily bloated and complex with all the different zones, then the different regional transport agencies, and then the regional vs. national trains. At least the Deutschlandticket has alleviated that somewhat, but then again, it is overkill for sporadic travelers, it doesn't cover the long-distance trains, and they are already talking about making it even more expensive again.

    On a positive note, great video and your happiness makes it so much more enjoyable to follow along 😉

  2. Two Tarifs are interesting on this trip the regional tarif called Niedersachsenticket which includes SBahn and UBahn in Hannover and Hamburg but you can only use non IC and ICE trains or you pay Niedersachsentarif. Kids taken on these trips are in most cases free.
