It will depend on your area. In mine you might find someone that is sentimental about an old schwinn. In my area you see these for $50 – $100. I flipped over 150 bikes durning the pandemic. Step Thru or ladies bike are harder to sell.
Not much really. It’s a true cruiser. Upright seating position, single gear crank. It doesn’t have a lot of the bells and whistles people want out of bicycles nowadays.
And with the coming of the e-age of vehicles, e-bikes and e-scooters are rapidly popping up all over the place in great pace!
I swear, around where I live, in a matter of 2 months the amount of ebikes/escooters has increased AT LEAST by 3x.
If you are looking to make a quick buck, you can try and start it on Facebook Marketplace for $100. Then just slowly work the price down until someone finally thinks it is an acceptable cost.
It’s unfortunate IMO you want to get rid of it. This is an aesthetically pleasing model and would make a great prop for instagram and such.
$200 easy if you live someplace with good bike infrastructure. This is a classic and would be desirable to a large range of people but mostly college aged hipsters or nostalgic older folks. These bikes will always have value. I’m in California and I sold a near mint condition single speed version Schwinn similar to this for $500 recently. There’s lots of databases to look up the year via the serial number. Yours looks be in really nice shape.
