Hi Dave, I use my Orbea Gain for my 30 mile round commute, I keep thinking about getting a normal bike to get fitter, how much more effort do you think you put in on the Canyon?

I’m so close to pulling the trigger on this bike. All of the measurements are pointing me to the medium, but when I went into a bike shop to try a 56 which the Canyon M is equivalent too, it felt far too big. Tried a 54 and it felt better which is a small apparently. Should I just pull the trigger on the medium? For context I’m 179cm and I have an 83 cm inseam. There are too many vacuous opinions online and you’re the only guy I’ve seen posting detailed videos about this bike. It will be my first decent bike purchase and I just don’t want to mess it up. On there size chart I’m just under the middle on medium on their graph. Just looking for some reassuring advice so I can finally make this purchase.
