Hello. I'm a novice rider having difficulty removing the front fork of my Giant M2 Hybrid. There is a loud squeak coming from the bottom cup.
I've removed the headset but the fork is not budging.
Is there something else I should be doing?

Hold the front of your frame up with 1 hand (front wheel off the ground) then smack the steerer tube downwards with a rubber mallet. It should just pop out. Keep the front wheel close to the ground tho
