Is this a decent bike? I have a really shitty Carrera MTB from like 2010 and have just gotten into bike commuting. But I would like to go on some longer rides and possibly try out triathlon (but not competing)

For the price, I think so. Some years ago, I built a similar Cannondale for my dad to compete in sprint triathlons. He didn’t ride it much.
These do have a reputation for failing at the rear dropout/chainstay area.
Is it the right size?
This is a steal
