  1. Those bikes are definitely not all the same size. Do you want flat or dropped bars? Is your route flat or does it have hills?

All seemed to be priced fairly.

    My order is:

    1. Cannondale T700 – Top contender due to versatility. With racks, you can carry stuff. Tire clearance is better than on road bikes. Touring bikes have relaxed geometry, better for longer rides.

    2. Litespeed – Looks to be a titanium frame. Best value of the bunch. Cons: needs shoes or pedals, narrow tire clearance, theft target.

    3. Bianchi – I’m partial to the brand for aesthetic reasons. Again, you’ll need shoes or pedals. The seat should be swapped also.

I wouldn’t consider any of the others.

Make sure you test ride anything before buying. Bikes do not come in a ‘one size fits all’.

The obvious choice for me is the cannondale t700. I own a T400 from the same line/era and am impressed with the quality and state that its in despite being produced almost 30 years ago. The standards are also fairly normal so finding components would be easy. The only drawback is that its made from aluminum, if youre a steel person that bianchi looks nice.

  4. Holy shit if the Litespeed fits no doubt that’s the choice. That’s a steal for a quality titanium bike. It looks low mileage and/or well cared for as well.
