I was going to wash my lovely Brompton, and I noticed this unusual drag when coasting and a warped chain, could anyone kindly tell me is that normal for Brompton?
It’s a c line bought in late 2023

This is absolutely not normal!!
Mine was doing the same thing a few weeks after buying it, turns out I’d wheeled it over a bump a bit too hard in shopping cart mode, which slightly bent the rear mudguard in to the wheel.
Have a go at gently moving the mudguard around and see if that works.

Something is rubbing. Check your brake pads either side to make sure they’re not rubbing the wheel rim, check your mudguard isn’t catching somehow. Just make sure the wheel and tyre is not rubbing against anything before proceeding.
