Does it only make the sound under pressure? I would suspect bottom bracket if so
It’s the new chain on the old driver, this is a common issue, check the driver for burs and wear, uses file to remove any burrs etc, it’ll wear into the chain eventually
one of my friends had the same issue but his was only creaking when he applied pressure while pedaling. he tighened up the spokes and that did the job quite well
I think it’s your chain rubbing against the hub guard
Chain line; you said the chain line looks good. it’s how the chain is going into that driver…new or old driver. The noise you hear when the bike flipped over and you handle pedal it is normal new chain sound. Keep playing with the amount of spacers on the crank spindle.
The sound you hear here when you apply pressure pedaling is not normal; it’s rhythmic popping sound that gets louder the harder you pedal.
When you pedal, the chain is pulling more and putting more force at the driver. I’m sure the chain line looks decent; but the chain is riding on the driver off; you can hear it. That popping noise under pressure is that. The chain doesn’t like the angle it’s going onto the driver. You could throw that chain on my bike even with a used or worn in driver and it would not sound like that.
It’s hard to explain haha.
