Does anyone have any experience with TPU tubes?
Bought a pack of the ridenow TPU tubes. However several of them seem to go flat after a day. I have pumped up and checked by putting under water but still can't see any obvious leaks or bubbles coming up.
I thought the material wasn't porous?
Or is it possible to have a small hole that won't show up when under water but will when inflated.

We sell ride now at the shop and they are great. You *do* need to pump them up regularly, like latex.
Those one with plastic valves are like a gamble, I bought new ones with metal valve like 2months ago and only problem was to seat tire properly
My ride now tubes have been good. Been riding them for like 6 months.
They definitely shouldn’t be flat after a day, but they do have worse aid retention than butyl tubes.
Did you check the stem and valve for leaks as well as the tube itself?
I had a problem once where a puncture was so tiny it only opened up inside the tyre at high pressure. Couldn’t pump it up enough to expose it outside the tyre cos it would’ve deformed the tube.
I might send this one back then to Amazon and get a different one if that’s the case.
The leak could be at the part where the TPU tube joins itself. Mine had the leak originate from there. One tube had it from the plastic valve. Replaced it with a tube that had a metal valve – much better. Been using RideNow TPUs now – they’re better than any others out there
