Could it be that with bigger wheels there is more room for wider bars when folded and wider bars will give better control?

  2. Maybe wait a couple weeks & see what the options are for the G line? Supposedly it’ll be more compatible with standardized components, and it should certainly have more room for larger mountain bike handlebars.

  3. I’m thinking to convert mine over using the kinetics kit along with some of my bits I’ve got like brakes although the g line will be easier as it just comes ready to roll but I’m a faffer I love a project but the narrow diameter of the bars means most mtb ones won’t fit

Some of the 3rd party folks that offer carbon and titanium bars offer longer/wider bars (550-600mm vs the 400-450). Joseph Kuwait off the top of my head.

Definitely usable on standard Bromptons; on one with larger tires, would make sense to use and also doesn’t have the downside of hitting the ground when folded.

  5. Vincent van Eerd uses Ergotec bars. The Joseph Kuosac bars I use on my Kinetics MTBrompton are 600 mm wide and work well for me.
