I was on Adventure Cycling’s Southern Tier route for some of the Louisiana portion, although I didn’t plan for that, and didn’t even realize I was on the route until I encountered other touring cyclists – something that rarely happens on my tours, not that I make my own routes.

This was my own route, on a [Fall tour](https://www.cycleblaze.com/journals/unknown/) where I left from my driveway in Kentucky and and rode randomly, but generally south.
