So like. What do you wear when you ride?? I know some people wear Kits, I have kits. Some people wear street clothes, I got that. Shorts? Sure. But like…idk I feel like fixed gear is a cycling subcategory that centers a lot on style choices…in my head I think most people ride in a kit or shorts and a t shirt. Personally I like to ride in jeans or jean shorts with bike shorts underneath or sometimes the good ol work/chino/khaki shorts with a band shirt. I haven't seen a convo on this since I got on Reddit but I'm curious what y'all wear or feel looks cool ….

Ride in whatever you’re comforatble in for the ride and scenario.

I’m with you, bibs or padded shorts under casual shorts, then whatever on top.

  2. I wear what I’m wearing if I’m going somewhere, full kit if it’s a multi-hour training ride.

I dig the hipster fit but I feel like personally I couldn’t pull off this look as I don’t have enough tattoos also ripped jeans are hard for me to pull off 🙃

  4. Whatever is comfy for the ride and the weather. Most of the time it’s bike shorts and a light shirt/windbreaker

  5. Go off and do whatever, I’m a noob but personally I’d say get some slightly looser pants and cuff the right leg. Skinny jeans on buff dudes always looks funky imo. I rock highwater work pants or denim shorts when I ride casual, gives the look of a regular guy enjoying an afternoon ride to the store

  6. Jorts with bike shorts underneath for work or anything over 10 miles, jeans or jorts the rest of the time. My partner just got me the squid dickies with the chamois in em and those are kinda nice too.
