Best advice: just don't care what others think. Do I need a 15k bike? Hell, no. Did I buy one anyway as a 45th birthday present to myself? Sure did. And now, one year later, it still looks new despite logging almost 12,000 km to this point.

I bought a YT Tues during Covid and didn’t ride it for a year and a half. The first thing I did when I got to the bike park was ride through the dustiest dust pile I could find in the parking lot.
How about JUST ride it??? All the trouble you go through to make it look like you ride it??!! You could have just rode the damn thing. You spent the money on it!! So ride it. !!!?
