I took the train up to Morez from Lyon and rode solid for 2.5 days. 1 long day of drizzle, 1 day of beautiful sun (and some fairly bad ankle burns) and amazing hills, beautiful views, and sketchy wild camping. I roughly followed the route on the last pic.
