Haven't touched my bike in a while and now my rotors are covered in small patches of rust. Should I replace them or will the rust run off with braking?
Definitely just ride those, that’ll come off the first time you touch the brake

They’re fine.

It’s just surface rust. It’s fine and it will be gone after a ride

That’s rust would not consider replacement, you could wipe it off with Disc brake cleaner, or something with alcohol it should take care of the surface rust.

The only times I have ever replaced rotors
1. Upgrade
2. Warped or bent from bash
3. Didn’t change pads properly and they were damaged and would squeal all day.
