I have a 1 year old specialized rockhopper.. and i have 2 issues with the chain.
First the chain is hitting the bar to the
Rear tire and putting the metal.
Second when im climbing in low gear
And gain some speed so im pedaling faster the chain will stay on the lower teeth of my front sprocket and get stuck between my frame and the gears. As you can see it is chewing up my frame and shifter.
What is the cause of this? Is my chain to loose? Do i need more lube one my chain?
It also seems like the design is poor because there us such a tight soace between the gears and the frame that when the chain comes off it gets stuck berween the two.
