So after spending a whopping 125 dollars it's back riding, and no it was not reported missing or stolen and there are not local posts saying one is missing, so stfu I checked and the only actually damage I could find is this dent

That thing is so cool. People will hate on it because of its age and wheel size, but bikes from that era are perfectly capable and probably more capable than the riders who talk down about them. Go shred! Thanks for giving that old bike another life. I recently rescued two old 26 inch bikes too.
That dent has fucked the frame. There’s a reason it was in the dumpster
idk if would ride anything with a frame looking like that lol that ‘dent’ would make me a little nervous
Frame is toast. That dent in the dt is going to fail eventually.
Back to dumpster it goes
Any bike that comes from the dumpster is a stinky
If it’s not getting sent hard, I’d say putting around town is a worthy retirement for that steed. Hate seeing usable bike in the trash…
Idk if you’re planning on riding just pavement or dirt as well, but I posted the other day about maxxis hookworms, which are basically a BMX tire that’s the same size as MTB tires. Great for street riding, not so much for anything other than a gravel path.
Have fun with it mate! Looks great
