Does anyone know what this blue piece of plastic is for and if it should stay there? I have one Shimano Grizl, which has the blue plastic, and one SRAM Grizl which does not have it and instead just has some exposed metal (second photo).
What is this for and why the difference between the bikes?

Blue one is a protective film on the metal plate frame protector. It is easily peeled off.
Why do you have 2 grizls?
