Okay, so I'm currently in process of building an oldschool downhill/freeride bike, on santa cruz v10 2003 frame and with marzocchi 888 rc2x 2006 fork, and problem i have now is, that due to high steering tube(145mm), there's not enough space between crowns of fork for most of headsets that you can find online. So the question is, do you guys know any headset that would be not higher than 20mm stacked?

Get a low height stem like DMR Defy. Easier than finding a truly low stack headset for EC34.
Easiest solution would be a stem with lower stack.
Looks like a pretty tall one on there now. A decent headset with less than 20mm stack will be hard to find, but you don’t need a ton more space to get more options.
Another option is a direct mount stem. There should be mounts for it, but I think are proprietary Marzocchi mounting patterns. Might be hard, but getting one of those stems would solve the issue. Unfortunately, I think when they changed to standard 4 bolt DM stems, they also went to 38mm stanchions, so a newer-style crown wouldn’t work.
