TL:DR

First time on a bike in 12 years, didn't like bikes, bought a bike, rode 55 miles in the first four weeks, im obsessed so thanks for that.

Long.

I have always been outdoorsy, just not on a bike. Never thought it was my thing. Then i saw a post from gravel cycling and i was like "damn that is a sick looking bike". I went down a rabbit hole. Two weeks later i bought a Trek Checkpoint (i have seen the "big brands" get some criticism so i apologize, but they were the closest shop and really receptice to my questions as a conplete noob).

Literally haven't been on a bike in 12 years. I am very busy with work and two little boys who i try to spend all my free time with while they are awake. This leaves early morning, nap time, or late at night to ride. I still managed to ride 55 miles in the last four weeks, most of them in 105° temps due to my time restrictions. Joke mileage to many of you but man it is crazy to me!

Anyways im hooked and now i'm always thinking of riding. Super stoked for the cold weather riding coming up.

I'm obsessed and i blame you guys but also thank you and i had to tell my wife how much i spent on my bike and damn was that awkward.

Also sorry for the bike being faced wrong, didn't know about that until after i did it…. it was my first day!
