Ignoring my first adult bike of a Trek FX 1 I quickly realized I wanted a road bike. Picked up a cheap Trek 1.2 and put probably 1800 miles on it. I eventually found a great deal on a Cannondale Synapse which to this day is still my most ridden bike at around 10k miles. Since then I had a summer with a Roubaix before taking the dive into the gravel world. I’m pretty dang content with my gravel bike which is a 2019 Diverge and I see no reason I need anything else…but I kinda miss my Synapse and having a light weight basic mechanical rim break tarmac speed machine….so maybe N+1
