Folded my wheel while riding home on a flat and skidding. lol. I am looking for advice on a wheel set that will hold up to tricks better. I like riding 700c because I commute on this bike but is it worth it to switch to 27.5 because of the added resistance to torsional force? Should I get something with a higher spoke count or something?

High spoke count will help, as will keeping your spokes tensioned. I would probably go for Velocity Cliffhangers or Ailerons before switching to 27.5.
Find some better/wider 29er rims like MTX33s, HPlusSon Todestriebs, or Fixated Tenacious before going down a wheel size.
I have a 29er FGFS and havent folded my rear Todestrieb rear wheel with Master hub yet. I weigh probably 260lbs when riding as well. Running a Haro Complete front wheel that has worked well for me too.
Were you doing hard tricks for a long time before this one folded?
